At Last, Minister Of State For Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu Enters Guinness Book of Records

Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, has entered the Guinness Book of Records as the shortest serving OPEC President.

On Wednesday 2 December, 2015, Kachikwu became OPEC president to replace Diezani Alison-Madueke. On Friday 4 December, he attended the 168th ordinary meeting of the organisation in Vienna Austria, his first meeting at the helm.

Same day, a fresh election was conducted. Mohammed Al Sada was elected to succeed him as the president.

From National Helm

A very strange record.
