A note handed to a flight attendant by an unhappy passenger has divided opinion, with web users at odds over whether it's distasteful or hilarious. Scribbled on a napkin, the complaint makes reference to noxious smells, which the passenger suggests are coming from a flatulent flier.
The author asks the attendant to make an announcement requesting that whoever is responsible for the pong stops breaking wind. Presumably meant as a joke, the note also suggests that the guilty party seek medical attention because they "might have ass cancer ". And while some have seen the funny side, for others it's kicking up a stink.
The note reads: "I don't know if you can make an announcement, but if you can you should say that whoever is farting in the area of rows 10 to 12 should definitely see a doctor because they might have ass cancer."
A picture of the note has been shared on Reddit with the caption: "My flight attendant mom got this napkin from an upset passenger." It's gone viral, amassing 1.4 million views in just 15 hours.
