Death of OAU first-class graduate announced on graduation day

What should have been a celebration turned to mourning as the death of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Best Graduating Student Biblari Awolade Elebuibon "was Announced On the 42nd Convocation ceremony of the University.
Elebuibon, whose father is a popular ifa priest in Osogbo, bagged the award of best student overall performance in Yoruba Language in the Faculty of Arts at the 42nd convocation ceremony of the OAU.
When he was called upon to receive his award by the Dean of Faculty of Arts, Prof. Gbemisola Adeoti, it was a solemn scene as most of his colleagues burst into tears.
The Public Relations of Officer then announced that a minute silence be observed in his honour .
It was learnt that the late Elebuibon died in an auto crash at Osogbo, capital of Osun State in July. At the convocation, no fewer than 66 students graduated with first class degrees.
